Who can resist a roomful of tools for sale? Before the holiday rush, treat yourself to great deals on used and lightly used metalworking and enamel tools and supplies, materials, discontinued inventory, overruns, findings, gemstones, books and periodicals, and equipment sold by makers, manufacturers, and local organizations such as The Crucible, WJA, Center for Enamel Art, and MAG. One afternoon only – come early for the prime items!  The sale is a fundraiser to benefit these local non-profit arts organizations. Scout Handford will also be there to sell his popular spider trivets.

As many of you know, the Center for Enamel Art has recently been the recipient of several donations that consist of the contents of entire enamel studios from the estates of those who have retired or have passed away.

June Schwarcz, who was always thinking of how to support enameling and those who enamel, bequeathed her studio to the Center:

The Center will be offering for sale many unique items from Schwarcz’ studio: unfinished electroformed pieces, unique tools made to her specifications, very rare enamels, color tests and early pieces. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of enamel history.

One of the goals for the Center is to get tools and supplies into the hands of students and all who can use them. Many of the donated items will remain in the Center’s possession and be used for classes and workshops sponsored by the Center, but we will be selling surplus on the 25th.

The Center is selling donated goods at garage sale prices. All proceeds go toward supporting the Center for Enamel Art and its various programs.
